You can make appointments to see your doctor by coming into the surgery or by telephoning Harlow (01279) 418136.
Morning surgery runs from 09:00 – 11:00 Monday - Friday. Appointments are at 10-minute intervals. If there are multiple problems to be resolved the GP may ask you to book a second appointment at a later date to address the additional problem due to time constraints.
Some of the appointments (60%) are bookable up to 4 weeks in advance, others are ‘book on days’ and any patients who cannot be fitted into these slots and states that their problem is urgent, is given an emergency appointment after 11:00 to deal with the one problem.
Evening/Afternoon surgeries – Monday to Friday 15:30 – 17:20. These consist of pre-booked, ‘book on day’ appointments and any patients who cannot be fitted into these slots and states that their problem is urgent, is given an emergency appointment after 17:30 and are asked to come and wait to be seen as an extra. These appointments are of 5 minute duration to deal with the one urgent problem.
Antenatal patients are seen at various times depending on the registered GP but range over lunchtime and early afternoons.
Post-Natal and 6-week checks are usually seen before or after a surgery and are booked at the convenience of the patient and their GP.
Wide range of appointments covering Monday to Friday commencing 09:00 and continuing throughout the day to 17:50 (lunch break 12:30 – 13:30).

Daytime emergencies - Phone the surgery number and the practice duty doctor will be contacted.
If you require telephone advice from the doctors please ring the surgery after 11:30 and give the receptionist as much information as possible. The doctor will then 'phone you back when they are not consulting.
If the call is urgent please let the receptionist know and they will put you through to the duty doctor.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
