Noticeboard

Dr Carolyn Smalley retires from the Practice on 30th September 2019 and we welcome Dr Dmitri Jegorov as her replacement.

Please note the Practice will be shut for training on Tuesday 17th September 2019 from 12:30 pm and will re-open as usual on Wednesday 18th September 2019 at 08:30.

Change to service: As from 7th August 2019, it has been agreed that the reception staff should ask patients 'why they need to be seen'. Reception staff are trained to ask certain questions in order to ensure that you receive:

The most appropriate medical care, from the most appropriate health professional, at the the most appropriate time.

Temporary Registration

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.

Note: We did not see temporary patients who live and are registered with another Practice in Harlow or surrounding area.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that practice.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
